Its really a nice site for the beginners of PLC. It provides a nice oppertunity to learn the basic. It would be better if u provide the online PLC simulator so that it will be usefull for the beginners. It would be good to email the PLC job requirements to the person..

I need some help in finding a device to drive a servo valve. I would like to input 120vac or 24vdc into a box and have an adjustable pot to output a steady 4-20ma signal to drive my servo valve. There doesn't appear to be something ready- made to do this. Can anyone offer some suggestions or solutions. Thanks

Thanks so much for providing these building blocks of PLC knowledge, they are so easy to read and understand. Just a question about one of sentences on the 'DC INPUTS' page, it says "Many engineers will say that PNP is better (i.e. safer) because the load is switched to ground, but whatever works for you is best. Just remember to plan for the worst". Should it be NPN here instead of PNP? Thanks.

I think that there is problem when 2 differend timers ton are start timing at the same time.... it's going to work only the second timer... any idea if i'm wrong??

Just learning ..but building a indexing filling machine (using a digital masterflex system with two pump heads) And also a labeling machine (using 3 ss241CT slo-syn motors and a lion precision LRD3100 label sensor) for my product bottles...I also have 10 Keyence digital fiber optic sensors and 9 different type cables (very cool!)Have learned a lot from this site..
