"RSlogix 500 Timer"
I'm trying to use a TOM (TImer-On-Dely) command in RSLogix 500. I have set it up with the following parameters:

Timer: t4:1
Time base: 0.01
Preset: 100
Acc: 0

I get an invalid output instruction when I try to verify the rung. It seems to be a problem with the value of Acc. Does anyone know how this command works? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your description of the timer entry (and you probably mean TON, there is no TOM) seems valid. Can you supply us with the complete rung and the actual wording of the error message? Maybe that will give more information.

Everything you have provided here is correct. You would not get a error. What else exactly, is in that rung?

Is it the text of the error message that makes you think the problem is with the ACC value? Could you have entered the letter 'O' instead of zero? Could you have used T4:1 somewhere in the program?

Do you have an output on the same rung as the TON?
If so, I don't think you can do that.

Instead activate the output on a separate rung when the timer is timing, done, or whatever?

What is "a bit"?
You are going to have to be very specific with exactly what you have so far.

From what I can make of it you are trying to increment something for every timing cycle.
In a seperate rung try having the timer/dn bit increment a counter.

I know its a vague answer......but we have absolutly idea what you are trying to do.
